Tasting notes: This very typical wine reveals a harmonious combination of “garrigue” aromas with hints of spices (including curry) and smoke. Crisp and heart on the palate, with plenty of freshness and a dense but gentle tannin structure that reveals red berry and pepper flavours.
Tasting suggestions: This wine may be enjoyed now for its spicy, fruity aromas. With 5 to 8 years’ ageing, it will gain in complexity and elegance, developing aromas typical of the ‘garrigue’ that surrounds the vineyards. It is at its best at a temperature of around 16 to 18 °C. This “Classic” wine’s fullness and freshness make it an ideal accompaniment to a wide range of foods, especially grilled meats (lamb in particular) and Mediterranean dishes.
