Tasting notes: The very dark colour is a sign of great richness. The nose offers a well-balanced palette of ripe fruit aromas (blackberries, blackcurrants, figs...), hints of smoke and scents of the "garrigue", giving the wine elegance and complexity. Its rich, smooth structure gives it a lovely feel on the palate and a good, long finish. Good potential for laying down.

Tasting suggestions: This wine should be laid down and will reach its full expression between 5 and 15 years, but its rounded structure means that it can be enjoyed younger, but should be decanted beforehand. It should be served at between 18 and 20°C and, considering its strength, will go beautifully with all kinds of dishes, particularly meats in sauce, such as game (hare, deer, etc...).
