Drink made from dealcoholized wine, from our organic grape production
We are pleased to present a new product for the estate, the result of several months of work and reflection.
For some time now, a new demand has been emerging for alcohol-free wines as an alternative to wine. Initially reluctant, we told ourselves that we had to remain open and look into the subject.
We have thought that it would be interesting to create an "alcohol-free wine" that is as close as possible to our wines, with freshness, balance and an expression of the terroir in order to produce a drink that can be consumed in the same context as a traditional red wine but without moderation.
We imagine that some will wonder about this approach but perhaps, like us, they will discover the potential of this drink that can create a synergy and be complementary to the consumption of wine.
Thus was born the Alternative 0% cuvée. It is made from grapes harvested by hand, without Sulphur added and then vinified traditionally like other wines, with the aim of creating a wine that best expresses the terroirs of the vineyard. The grape varieties that compose it are Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan.
To eliminate the alcohol, we chose a vacuum evaporation technique which takes place at low temperature, respects the wine and allows the alcohol to evaporate.
Alternative 0% allows you to have the pleasure of drinking "wine" as you would a classic wine and offers a good alternative to those who cannot or do not want to consume alcohol.
Moderation is no longer an issue, pleasure without limits ! And the cherry on the cake, the quantity of calories consumed is lower than for wine.
When tasting, this Alternative 0% cuvée offers a rich bouquet where red fruits (morello cherries, strawberries) appear first, then toasted and garrigue notes arrive. These aromas are supported by a velvety structure with a beautiful freshness that continues with good length on the palette.
To make the most of this bottle, a temperature of 14 to 16 ° C will be ideal. Once opened, the bottle should be kept cool and consumed quickly.
We hope that this vintage will be a way for some consumers to gradually access wine and discover all its richness. It will also be a way for those who must or wish to limit their alcohol consumption to have a drink that is very close to a terroir wine.
