Tasting notes: Initial aromas are similar to curry. These are followed by other sweet aromas: saffron, tropical fruit, candied citrus fruit and orange blossom. The flavours that emerge on tasting are a little fruitier, supported by a sensation of freshness, fullness and concentration. The bouquet is of excellent length, with the appearance of a hint of almond.
Serving suggestions: This Classic White may be enjoyed young, when it offers fruitiness, or older (3 to 6 years), when it has more floral, mineral qualities. When young, it should be aired in a carafe to release its aromas, and served at approximately 12°C. It goes particularly well as an aperitif with tapas, or with grilled fish, seafood such as Coquilles St Jacques, or goat’s cheeses.
