Tasting notes: Initial acidulous citrus fruit aromas, particularly grapefruit and orange peel, followed by smoky, mineral notes. Full and fleshy on the palate, with sweet, mineral flavours. The finish is fresh and floral.
Serving suggestions: This Classic White may be enjoyed young, when it offers fruitiness, or older (3 to 6 years), when it has more floral, mineral qualities. When young, it should be aired in a carafe to release its aromas, and served at approximately 12°C. It goes particularly well as an aperitif with tapas, or with grilled fish, seafood such as Coquilles St Jacques, or goat’s cheeses.
