Tasting notes: A mellow combination of roasting, dark berry, new leather and liquorice aromas. Plenty of volume and density on the palate (that many would not expect for this vintage), which is carried through to the finish. This smooth wine coats the mouth, leaving very persistent “garrigue” aromas.

Tasting suggestions: With its richness and balance, this wine will happily accompany a wide range of foods, particularly grilled meat and hearty dishes such as stews and meat cooked in wine, such as jugged hare.
