Tasting notes: Highly complex and typical, offering a wide range of aromas – red berries, blackberries, cocoa and coconut. Toasty and coffee notes are added on the palate, combined with a dense, voluminous structure balanced by a delightful freshness that is pleasantly prolonged over time.


Tasting suggestions: Very pleasant now, this wine has the potential to develop over many years to come, revealing further aromas through which the terroirs will express their character. This powerful, fresh wine may be enjoyed with all the usual dishes even the more strongly-flavoured, including game. Why not try it with a hare “à la royale”. Go for it!

Tasting notes: A mellow combination of roasting, dark berry, new leather and liquorice aromas. Plenty of volume and density on the palate (that many would not expect for this vintage), which is carried through to the finish. This smooth wine coats the mouth, leaving very persistent “garrigue” aromas.


Tasting suggestions: With its richness and balance, this wine will happily accompany a wide range of foods, particularly grilled meat and hearty dishes such as stews and meat cooked in wine, such as jugged hare.

Tasting notes: A rich, complex nose with smoky overtones that reveal dark berry (blackberry) and spice aromas with hints of “garrigue” in an intense bouquet. The structure is dense with harmonious tannins that offer considerable persistence on the palate.


Tasting suggestions: This wine combines great richness with freshness and may be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes, especially meat cooked in sauce or game, such as hare.

It is pleasant to drink now and should be decanted before the meal. You can also lay it down in the cellar for a few years without risk – quite the contrary!
